We have partnered with SmartXchange, an eThekwini-based not-for-profit ICT cluster established to promote and support the region’s vision to be the technology hub of Africa, to help achieve this objective. As the only JSE listed ICT company headquartered in KwaZulu-Natal, we are strongly motivated to support this initiative and develop ICT talent locally.

Adapt IT recently received an award that is further confirmation that industry recognizes the efforts and strides we have made and that our company is representative of the dynamics of our country. Adapt IT walked away as the winner of the 2009 Alec Rogoff BBBEE Empowerment Award (Large Corporate category) from the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We are proud to celebrate a further success after the Financial Mail released its much anticipated results for the 2009 Top Empowerment Companies (TEC) Survey. Adapt IT’s improved ranking from 18th in April 2008 to 7th of all the listed companies on the JSE Securities Exchange is testimony of our  company is capable of.

With the broad-based BEE rating for the Adapt IT Group conducted by Empowerdex, the overall result is very pleasing with the company categorised as a Level 3 contributor obtaining an overall score of 75.08. Our customers can now recognise 110% of the value of their spend with Adapt IT or its subsidiaries towards the procurement elements of their scorecards.
