Medical Research Council

The Medical Research Council’s annual budgets are based on the volume and quality of the research conducted. They had 43 departments conducting research and there was no management of the research outputs. Export Department users put all their information into SEED as the central database. This makes the process more reliable and also solves the problem of differing formats, templates and filing systems

A 99% uptime is realised by running on Intel based servers running Linux Red Hat advanced server and stringent monitoring and reporting ensures that all points of failure is monitored at all times.
