Adapt IT recognises that there is a need to communicate with users of the website, and the people whose personal information we process, that there are various terms that apply to their relationship with it. In the interest of maintaining a transparent relationship with users it is important that Adapt IT complies with its legal obligations. This Legal Centre contains the legal notices that users must review and agree with when interacting with Adapt IT, using this website, or entering into a relationship with Adapt IT. The Legal Department has worked to ensure that the legal notices are drafted in plain language and has taken into consideration the legal requirements that are applicable to the legal notices. Users may read more about the various laws that Adapt IT complies with in the next section.
The following legal notices, in addition to other applicable terms, relate to the relationship between Adapt IT and the user:
Unethical conduct goes against what Adapt IT stands for as an organisation. It has a potentially crippling effect on the business community and society at large, and erodes the trust that an organisation should build in its relationships.
Adapt IT is, therefore, committed to maintaining the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethical conduct and has adopted an Ethics and Conduct Policy to promote and enforce ethical conduct, business practices and standards throughout the organisation and in its relationships.
Furthermore, there is an Anti Bribery and Corruption Policy setting out Adapt IT’s stance on the issue.
We respect that the law (like PAIA) requires us to give certain people access to information in certain circumstances. We recognise the importance of such a requirement because we believe that access to information is a powerful tool to ensure accountability and transparency. You can read our PAIA Manual to find out more.
